I'm the kind of girl who has to have more toppings than ice cream, I just gotta have the substance, ya know?
Sometimes I don't feel like a gardeny (that's a word I'm pretty sure) tasting smoothie, and I just have to have something sweet, but I still want to get my greens in and start the day off right!
In this bomb bowl is half a cucumber and a whole cup of spinach...and a whole lotta other good stuff that will leave your tummy thanking you!

My go-to banana bread recipe, plus it's gluten free and has chocolate chips, so what's not to love?!
Recently in december, i created and sold my first recipe book! the book is a combination of recipes created by my amazing mama, the enlightened homemaker, myself, and ones we adapted to be made clean from our favorite recipes that have been passed along and found from around the web.
i wasn't sure how well my book would sell, so i didn't make a huge order, but before i knew it, they were sold out! stoked! i plan on doing a reorder in the near future, and it will be available for order on my site. but until then, i thought it would be a good idea start sharing some of my favorite recipes on here as well. my hopes for this blog is to challenge myself and keep me motivated to create...whether it is new recipes, art or anything that i can get my hands on! i am constantly being inspired by those who share their passions and give it their all. i'm thankful for a mama who has inspired me to have a love for healthy living, specifically eating and cooking in a way that provides our bodies with the best nutrients, yet not limiting ourselves from indulging in a chocolate chip cookie (or five) on occasion ;) let's seek a healthy, happy life together!
